Vocoder
Audio & echo
On speakers: when the mic opens, Yocoda plays a soft hiss for ~3 s to measure your room, so stay quiet for that moment, then it tells you how loud the echo is. The louder the speaker is compared with your voice at the mic, the more of your voice the canceller has to take out with the echo — so on a phone, hold it close to your mouth, sing out, and keep the volume moderate; headphones are the only way to the fully clean sound. Feeding back? Turn the device echo canceller on and the volume down a notch. Too quiet on a phone? Keep Output route on Media player, press the volume-up button while it plays (phones switch to call volume when the mic is open) and raise Output. Crackly? Use Stable.
